This year, the question I decided to take on for my sustained investigation, the set of 15 artworks required for the AP exam in May, was: What defines certain types of fashion and it's many subcultures? I decided to dive into this question over night really, as I realized how intrigued I can be by the many visually distinctive fashions out there and what it means to the many people who engage in its communities.

   Through my sustained investigation I showcase many well known types of fashion, but also make sure to search for fashion subcultures that are not so talked about and give them a voice through my artwork. Some people find these bold fashion styles rather eccentric, but I find that they each have very beautiful aspects which I make sure to include in each of my pieces as well.
